TAYLOR — A driver was found slumped over his steering wheel at 11:46 p.m. Dec. 16 on the eastbound I-94 ramp to northbound Telegraph Road in a red Ford Escape.
The car was in drive, and was stopped only because the unconscious man’s foot was on the brake.
The responding police officers were unable to awaken the man via verbal command. He finally opened his eyes when they knocked on the car window. However, the man was unresponsive to immediate directions…
