During a Palmyra Area School Board meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8, several residents showed up in support of two Cougars’ coaches currently suspended from the program.
Both head coach Jonathan Regets and assistant Joshua Weidman were suspended within the last two weeks.
“Ultimately students, in this case student athletes, are paramount for us,” Palmyra superintendent Bernie Kepler told the Lebanon Daily News. “As a school district (and) administration, any concerns brought to us are taken absolutely seriously. We pride ourselves in an objective and thorough manner, and that’s where we are at in the process. As concerns are brought forward, we will look into those to ultimately ensure the safety of our kids.”…
