The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County has issued a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algae toxins in the Lake Marian Pavilion area in southern Osceola County. The alert is in response to a water sample taken on Jan. 5.
The Health Department issued much the same warning for Lake Marion in 2022.
