Homicide Unit detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are now trying to identify two females and one male, whom they strongly believe were involved in Valentine’s death.

Valentine, who was driving in the area of the 800 block of Murfreesboro Pike to complete a DoorDash delivery, was traveling in a Chevrolet Traverse when his girlfriend, who was in the car with him at the time, reported that she heard gunshots before realizing Valentine had been hit, according to the MNPD.

Authorities said the woman pulled the vehicle over safely and called dispatch.
