ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are investigating two separate assaults that left three people injured over the weekend. The incidents happened within hours of each other and in the same general area, but police have not suggested they are related.
The first incident occurred at about 9:46 p.m. January 9 on Durnan Street, where officers found a 28-year-old woman with a laceration to her upper body. She was taken by AMR to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. No suspects are in custody.
The second incident happened at about 12:26 a.m. January 10 near Delmonte and North streets. Officers located a 34-year-old man with lacerations to his upper body. Investigators determined he had been assaulted at a residence in the 100 block of Weyl Street, where a second victim remained. Police went to the home and found a 37-year-old man with similar injuries. Both men were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries…
