The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District recognized Truck 50 and Medic 633 for their lifesaving efforts on March 22, 2025, when they resuscitated a 78-year-old man in cardiac arrest due to Ventricular Tachycardia. Using advanced life support measures, including chest compressions, defibrillation, and multiple synchronized cardioversions during transport, they successfully restored his heartbeat and preserved his cognitive functions, as reported by the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
