Judge orders release of Chula Vista missing woman’s family, marriage therapy records ahead of Millete’s murder trial

SAN DIEGO — A judge ruled Thursday that Maya Millete’s marriage therapist records will be released to prosecutors, a significant development as her husband prepares to stand trial for her murder.

Larry Millete’s attorney appeared virtually in San Diego Superior Court for a motions hearing focused largely on logistics ahead of the March 9 trial. Larry Millete, who has been jailed without bail for four years and three months, is charged with first-degree murder and illegal possession of an assault weapon.
