A felony gun arrest now forces a village board decision, according to The Citizen. Prosecutors confirmed a Cayuga County village clerk pleaded guilty after investigators found an un-serialized, self-made pistol.
The case centers on Patricia A. Ewald, 53, charged after a Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office investigation. She entered the plea Tuesday in Cayuga County Court and faces five years of probation. Her husband’s case remains pending.
