TOLEDO, Ohio — A west Toledo man, who police say struck his fiancé and six-month-old baby in December, will spend two months in jail, after pleading no-contest to charges related to the incident.
Avery Mapes, 23, was originally charged with Domestic Violence for the December 4 incident but the charge was amended to Negligent Assault.
