TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Warsaw Street resident has been living without electricity and gas for a week after she says city demolition crews damaged her home while cleaning up a fire at an abandoned property next door.
Betsy Shinners said she has been relying on a generator, candles, flashlights and a space heater since Tuesday.
