NORFOLK, Va. — A few Norfolk residents got a shock in the mail when they saw their latest water bill. City leaders confirm residents can expect a higher-than-usual bill for this month… not because the rates have gone up, but because of an extended billing period.
William Wood, a longtime Norfolk resident, told 13News Now he noticed the change as soon as he looked at it. He said no additional notice was ever given to him, and that he did not use any more water than usual.
