‘We deserve answers’: One month later, family still searching for justice in Corey Denmark’s killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Nearly a month after 49-year-old Corey Denmark was shot and killed outside a shopping center in Jacksonville, his family is still waiting for answers and pleading for someone to come forward.

“Tomorrow will be 30 days,” Cynthia Hughes, his mother, said. “30 days without my boy.”
