Final 3 defendants sentenced in ’brutal’ 2021 murder of Alishah Pointer

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cuyahoga County judge on Friday handed down sentences for the final three people involved in the 2021 kidnapping and murder of Alishah Pointer, closing out a sprawling case that led to convictions for all six defendants.

Common Pleas Judge Mollie Anne Murphy sentenced Destiny Henderson, 21, to 25 years in prison, Nathaniel Poke, 26, to 23 years in prison, and Portria Williams, 34, to life in prison with parole eligibility after 23 years.
