WILMINGTON, DE — A late-evening disturbance in Wilmington has led to the arrest of a local woman following an alleged burglary and cutting incident that left one person injured, police said.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers from the Uniformed Services Division were dispatched at approximately 8:01 p.m. on January 5 to the 500 block of Taylor Street after reports of a burglary and a cutting. When officers arrived, they located a woman suffering from what was described as a minor cut wound.
Through their investigation, police identified 26-year-old Kayla Barnes as a suspect in the incident. Officers later located Barnes in the 400 block of East 10th Street, where she was taken into custody without incident. A folding knife was recovered during the investigation, authorities said…
