Three Austin-Area Men Arrested in Round Rock for Alleged Online Solicitation of Minors

Round Rock, a city that’s slowly becoming all too familiar with the grim spectre of online dangers, found itself grappling with a dark reality once more. CBS Austin recently reported that police there arrested three men during the week of December 20, 2025, for allegedly soliciting minors through digital channels. The men, ranging in age from 22 to 62, were ensnared in separate sting operations conducted by the Round Rock Police Department (RRPD). CBS Austin elucidates that in each instance, the arrests followed reports of suspicious online activity.

The first incident occurred on December 20, just after 5:30 p.m., on the 1300 block of Logan Street. Police apprehended Allan Woodson, 62, of Austin, subsequently charging him with online solicitation of a minor—a second-degree felony. According to KVUE, Woodson faces an additional charge for possession of a controlled substance, discovered during his booking at the Williamson County Jail.

Two days later, on December 22, officers were called to the area of Deerfoot Drive around 8:30 p.m., where they encountered and arrested 43-year-old Taylor Williamson of Austin. Besides the online solicitation charge, Williamson was also cited for failure to identify under Texas law…
