El Paso just hosted a pretty exciting Sun Bowl game but a pregame hospital visit was missed. No worries though, the hospital staff came to the rescue.
The 92nd annual Sun Bowl game was played New Year’s Eve in UTEP’s Sun Bowl Stadium. The Duke University Blue Devils narrowly edged out the Arizona State Sun Devils in a tense game that went right down to the wire, final score – 42-39.
Prior to the game, a series of events takes place to build excitement and do some local, community good. As far back as I can remember, one of those things has been a visit to sick kids at El Paso hospitals…
