Frisco ISD seeks community input on superintendent search

Frisco ISD has invited the district’s staff, parents and community members to give input on the district’s ongoing superintendent search.

Frisco ISD Superintendent Mike Waldrip will retire from the district, effective June 30, after nearly 44 years in public education. He served as the district’s superintendent since 2017. The district has already begun the search for a new superintendent, but is looking to community feedback to refine the search.

The district website states input sessions and surveys will help Impact Education, a group of former superintendents and leadership figures, develop the profile of a potential superintendent candidate, taking stakeholder feedback into account as trustees navigate the search process…
