As more wintry weather settles into the area, this tasty event will help people warm up this weekend in Amarillo.
The 42nd annual Tri-State Open Chili Championship’s chili cook-off takes place Saturday, Jan. 10 in the Rex Baxter Building at the Tri-State Fairgrounds.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and admission is free. Tasting cups are $5 each, which let attendees sample various chili entries and vote for their favorites. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation…
