ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford set a record high of 58 degrees today, which occurred shortly after midnight. Throughout the day the clouds eventually broke, and sunshine kept temperatures in the 40s, which is still above average for this time of year. Skies will stay mostly clear this evening with temperatures dipping into the lower 30s by early tomorrow morning as cloud cover increases.
