Bakersfield community uses music to advocate for humanity and transparency at ICE protest

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Musicians and community members gathered in front of the ICE Field Office location in downtown Bakersfield Friday afternoon, calling for “legality, humanity, and transparency.”

Those who were there played music and held signs.

A social media post on the event said, “This gathering of community members is a compassionate presence — calling for legality, humanity, and transparency, and reminding all who pass by that dignity and accountability matter.”
