In a somber incident that has left the Bed-Stuy community reeling, two men were discovered deceased inside a parked vehicle on Thursday afternoon. Police responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious person around 1:06 p.m. on January 8, near 447 Monroe Street along Marcus Garvey Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers from the 79th Precinct found the victims—identified as a 49-year-old man and a 39-year-old man—unresponsive inside the car.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced both men dead at the scene, but the causes of their deaths have yet to be determined. As of Thursday evening, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
