PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — A detour is now in place on a section of South Railroad Street after emergency utility repairs shutdown the area for an unknown amount of time.
According to the Phenix City Utilities Department, workers are urgently performing repairs on South Railroad Street, between 17th Avenue and 14th Court. The road is closed effective immediately and is expected to last until the project is finished.
