EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) —Ascension St. Vincent is the latest hospital system in the Tri-State to tighten visitor restrictions as respiratory illnesses continue to increase.
Hospital officials say the new rules take effect today. Under the updated policy, only visitors who are free of fever, cough, or other respiratory-like symptoms will be allowed to enter hospital facilities.
In addition, visitors under the age of 18 are no longer permitted unless they are the parent of a patient. Hospitals will also limit visitation to two visitors at a time…
