Nashville road reopens after officers stop suicide threat outside Bellevue apartment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Police officers were able to stop a suicide threat outside a Bellevue apartment complex Saturday night.

Officers at the scene told WSMV that they were initially called out to the Forest Park Apartments in the 6900 block of Highway 70 S for reports of a shooting just before 2:40 p.m.

However, when officers arrived, they found a man who had a gun and was threatening to shoot himself outside the complex about 20 feet from the road…
