SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A new documentary film chronicling the history of a former school in Midway that served as a training ground for leaders of the Civil Rights Movement will premiere at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center Sunday, Jan. 18.
Dorchester Academy: A Legacy of Liberty tells the story of the school for children of freed slaves that opened after the Civil War and remained a school into the 1940s.
