SARASOTA COUNTY – Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a coastal commitment at Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ annual Say ‘I Do’ Again vow renewal ceremony. Ceremonies will take place at 6 p.m., Feb. 14 on both Siesta Beach, 948 Beach Road, Sarasota and Nokomis Beach,100 Casey Key Road, Nokomis.
Pre-registration is $20 per couple and is open until Feb. 8. Couples can pre-register online or by calling 941-861-PARK (7275). Registered couples will receive a renewal certificate, gift and a flower. Day-of registration at the event will open at 4:30 p.m. with the ceremony beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Day-of registration is $30 per couple and only credit cards will be accepted.
For over 35 years this annual event has attracted locals and tourists alike. Couples can participate in a non-denominational vow renewal ceremony officiated by Judge Stephen Walker on Siesta Beach or Judge Shannon Hankin at Nokomis Beach.
