KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Story courtesy of WVLT) – A planning commission approved a proposal for a new homeless resource center on Clinton Highway Thursday despite opposition from nearby residents and business owners who raised safety concerns.
The proposal came after the CareCuts nonprofit wanted to expand into a larger building to serve more homeless individuals in the area.
