A late-night drive on northbound Highway 183 in Mustang Ridge turned deadly Friday when a single vehicle reportedly “spun out and flew off” the roadway, according to the Mustang Ridge Police Department. The crash killed one person, shut down lanes, and triggered a multi-agency response that stretched into the night.
Officers were dispatched after multiple 911 callers reported the wreck in the 12000 block of northbound Highway 183 around 8 p.m. Authorities later classified the crash as a fatal collision at 10:45 p.m., and the Texas Department of Public Safety was called in to assist with the investigation.
