Simply South, a pure-vegetarian Indian chain with existing locations in Irving and Frisco, is expanding to the city with a mid-January debut planned and a menu centered on South Indian staples such as multiple idli preparations, dosas, tandoori paneer, paneer tikka kebabs, and breads like butter naan. The new spot is set up as a casual dine-in restaurant with pickup and delivery options, adding a dedicated vegetarian choice to a stretch that has been steadily filling in with new places to eat.
