HOUSTON (CW39) – Houston police are searching for a suspect after a grandfather was shot and killed while working in east Houston.
The owner of Connie’s Seafood says 57-year-old Luis Quinteros was a longtime security guard at the restaurant. According to his boss, Quinteros had just clocked in for his shift Thursday evening when a man approached him, put a gun to his back and shot him in the parking lot.
Police said the suspect then fled the scene. Quinteros later died from his injuries.
