Montgomery County and Liberty County sheriff’s deputies worked together to arrest two suspects connected to armed robberies reported in both counties on Saturday.
At approximately 11:17 a.m. on January 10, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 26600 block of FM 1485 in New Caney. While deputies were en route, Montgomery County dispatchers advised that a similar robbery had just occurred in Liberty County on FM 1010 near Colony Ridge.
Deputies were provided with a detailed description of the suspects and their vehicle. An MCSO deputy later spotted a vehicle matching that description and attempted a traffic stop. The suspects failed to stop, leading to a brief pursuit that ended when the vehicle crashed on Manion Drive. The suspects then fled on foot into a wooded area…
