(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs City snow plows were on full callout overnight to tackle primary and secondary roads throughout the city and will continue to maintain that focus throughout the morning hours on Saturday, Jan. 10.
According to the City of Colorado Springs, cold temperatures overnight limited the effectiveness of snow-melt material until the sun came out and traffic increased. Crews have been instructed to focus on primary and secondary roadways, as well as addressing slick spots, as the afternoon sunshine on Friday created some melt that refroze overnight.
