WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has released the name of a pedestrian who died after he was hit by a pickup truck on Interstate 295.
The victim was identified as 60-year-old William Gardner.
MPD’s preliminary investigation revealed that a black 2000 Chevy Silverado was traveling north on I-295 when it struck Gardner, who was walking in the road.
