Authorities confirmed Carter’s death on Friday evening after responding to a call regarding an unresponsive male in Duarte, California. No foul play is suspected in his passing, according to reports from the Associated Press.
Born Thomas Kent Carter on December 18, 1956, Carter grew up in the Los Angeles area and began his comedic journey early, performing stand-up comedy at just 12 years old. His career blossomed, leading to his iconic portrayal of Nauls in John Carpenter’s “The Thing.”
