Bronx man charged with murder after fatal stabbing outside Bryant Avenue building

BRONX, N.Y. – A Bronx man has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly stabbing that left a 34-year-old Queens resident dead Friday evening, police said.

According to investigators, officers responded to a 911 call around 6:35 p.m. on January 9 reporting an assault in front of 1500 Bryant Avenue in the 42nd Precinct. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds across his body. Emergency medical services transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim has been identified as Aaron Carpenter, 34, of 17601 110th Avenue in Queens. Following an overnight investigation, police arrested 31-year-old Antonio J. Jackson of 1496 Bryant Avenue at 3:45 a.m. Saturday…
