Cooler Air Settles In & Sticks Around For Awhile!

TODAY:What a difference a day makes as we woke up to 70s and incoming showers and storms yesterday morning. This morning, we’re start out in the 40s under mostly sunny skies. It will be a bit cool today as highs only manage to get into the mid 50s.

THIS WEEK:Monday will feature a mix of sun and high clouds with morning lows in the upper 20s to low 30s, and afternoon highs only in the low 50s. Tuesday will be another chilly start with lows again in the upper 20s to low 30s. Afternoon highs will warm to near 60°. Wednesday, our next frontal system arrives to bring us a chance for some isolated showers. With afternoon highs only in the upper 50s, it will be a chilly rain. Thursday, look for conditions to improve as that Wednesday system moves out. There could be an early morning isolated shower, but the sun should return in the afternoon with highs only in the 40s. Friday is looking great with mostly sunny skies after a very cold start with lows well into the 20s. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 50s.

UPCOMING WEEKEND:There is aquite a bit of uncertainty for the upcoming weekend. Some models are showing isolated to scattered showers with even a few snow flakes possible, while other models are showing just a stray shower with all the snow possibilities confined to north Alabama and Georgia into Tennessee. Regardless, very little snow, if any, is expected locally. Bottom line, the upcoming weekend will be fine tuned as the week progresses, so stay tune for the latest…
