WYOMISSING, PA — Wyomissing Police responded to a wide range of alleged incidents throughout January 8, 2026, handling everything from reported identity thefts and missing property to traffic accidents, alarms, and disorderly conduct as officers worked through a steady stream of calls across the borough.
The day began just after 1:40 a.m. on State Hill Road, where officers responded to a report involving a woman described as attempting to break into the home of former roommates. Police categorized the call as involving a mental health subject and followed up on the incident. No arrests were announced.
Shortly afterward, officers were dispatched to Warwick Drive for a door alarm that was ultimately determined to be a false alarm, followed later in the early morning by an automatic fire alarm at a nearby residence.
