NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – It’s been 10 days since Nevaeh Brown lost her best friend, 23-year-old Afriye Seegars.
“We were really just talking about what we were going to do better this year,” Brown said. “Now that she’s gone, those plans are kind of up in smoke, but I’m going to still try to do them because we said we were.”
Seegars was killed in the early morning hours of the new year when a driver sped into her and her friend, 24-year-old James Stephens, as they were getting into a rideshare outside Pecker’s Bar and Grill on Hermitage Avenue…
