A Villager has been jailed without bond after violating a court order.
Kara Lynne Johnson, 48, of the Village of Chitty Chatty, was book Friday night at the Sumter County Detention Center.
She had been released on $3,000 bond on Dec. 9 in connection with a violent incident involving a dementia patient she had hoped to defraud.
Johnson took the woman, who has been diagnosed with the onset of dementia, from Mississippi to the Days Inn on State Road 44 in Wildwood, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
