Oklahoman remembered for U.S. Native American Veterans Memorial design

After decades of creating work as a respected law enforcement officer, trailblazing forensic artist and internationally celebrated Cheyenne and Arapaho painter and sculptor, Harvey Pratt achieved a “crowning achievement” in the last few years of his life.

“Beyond his criminal justice work in service to our state, Harvey was a veteran whose devotion to our nation would come full circle in his selection to create the National Native American Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.,” said Oklahoma Arts Council Executive Director Amber Sharples in an email.
