Alton vigil draws about 150 to mourn Renee Good after ICE shooting

ALTON — A candlelight vigil at Alton’s Lincoln-Douglas Square brought out about 150 people to remember Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday in Minneapolis.

“We just can’t let this keep happening,” said organizer Lumiere Wille of the Piasa Rainbow Collective, an Alton-based LGBTQ+ group.

She said they wanted to bring the community together “and show everyone we’re not alone and stronger together.”…
