OKLAHOMA (KOKH-KTUL) — The day after morning tornadoes ripped across Oklahoma, we have added another one to the count.
The National Weather Service in Tulsa has determined that damage near Wynona in Osage County was caused by a tornado. This brings us up to five from Thursday morning.
The other update today was that the Purcell tornado was upgraded to EF-2.
As of now, this ties January’s 2023 amount of five for the most January tornadoes on record.
