KENT, Wash. — In the wake of devastating floods that left many homes in the city of Pacific inundated, a church in Kent became a gathering place for affected homeowners seeking answers and accountability by sharing their stories.

The town hall-style event, organized by Dr. Lawrence Boles III, drew just over a dozen residents eager to share their stories with a pair of lawyers.
