The Philomath High School swim teams turned in solid performances at the District Sprint Meet Saturday at Albany Community Pool with the boys claiming first place and the girls finishing third in their respective team standings.
The Philomath boys totaled 279 points to edge second-place Stayton (273.5) in a closely contested meet that featured 10 teams. Cascade finished third with 239 points.
