LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A tragic fire broke out Friday evening at a residence on the 200 block of North 19th Street, leaving one man dead and several residents displaced.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue (LVFR) responded to the call at around 7:40 p.m. and arrived on scene within five minutes. Firefighters confirmed an active structure fire and immediately began suppression efforts. The blaze was extinguished in under 10 minutes.

During the operation, crews discovered an adult male in his 50s inside the home. Emergency responders provided medical care and transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, the man was later pronounced dead.
No additional injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the LVFR Fire Investigation Unit. The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada has been notified and is assisting displaced residents…
