After Lehigh Valley restaurant’s closure, gift cards to be accepted at nearby establishment

LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. – Individuals in possession of unused gift cards to a recently closed restaurant in Lehigh County have an opportunity to redeem them at another dining establishment.

On Sunday, the owners of Casa Catrina – a full-service Mexican restaurant that closed in December at 1905 Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township – announced that unused Casa Catrina gift cards will be accepted at the My Tequila House location at 4558 Crackersport Road in South Whitehall Township during the months of January 2026 and February 2026.

“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty and support over the past six years,” the announcement on the business’ Facebook page reads.

“Your families, your celebrations, your smiles, your gatherings, and your special occasions with us made Casa Catrina a truly special place for our family. We appreciate your understanding during this transition, and we extend a warm thank you to My Tequila House for opening their doors to our beloved customers.”…
