A bond hearing has been scheduled for the suspect arrested in a Brookstone subdivision murder.
Antanvious Butler was arrested on October 7, 2025, after 65-year-old Norman Lane was found shot and killed at his home on Brookstone Boulevard the night before.
Butler was charged with home invasion in the first degree, murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Butler appeared in Judge David Ranieri’s courtroom for his first appearance on October 10, 2025, where Judge Ranieri ruled Butler to be held without bond and Butler pled not guilty.
