Major Narcotics Bust in Jacksonville as Four Alleged Gang Members Arrested in Operation Red Light

In a significant crackdown on Jacksonville’s gang activities, local law enforcement recently wrapped up a major narcotics operation, culminating in the arrest of four known gang members. According to a press release from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), Operation Red Light was a focused effort by the JSO’s Gang Investigations Unit, which worked in collaboration with various other specialized units and agencies over several months in 2025 to gather incriminating evidence against the individuals involved.

The investigation’s zenith occurred on November 5, 2025, when detectives executed five search warrants that resulted in the seizure of large quantities of controlled substances, including 152.4 grams of Fentanyl—which alone is more than 76,000 potentially fatal doses—as well as methamphetamine, cocaine, promethazine, marijuana, and an array of firearms. Alongside currency and vehicles, the operatives seized cash amounting to $1,190, and they impounded three vehicles deemed to be related to the illicit activities…
