Mid-Michigan pottery shop encourages customers to support local business

EATON RAPIDS, Mich. (WLNS) — Now that the holidays are over, some businesses are seeing less foot traffic, but a local pottery store says that’s not the case for them.

Jamie Lawson owns Your Creative Escape in Eaton Rapids with his wife, Tracy.

The pair has been keeping the residents of their community busy during the winter months for the past 15 years.

“If the weather’s nasty outside, we do well,” said Lawson. “If it’s really hot outside, we do well. So it’s kind of weather-related. You wouldn’t think it would be, but we have a lot of regular customers that continue to support our business.”
