MONTVERDE, Fla.—A 39-year-old Howey-in-the-Hills man was thrown from his motorcycle and killed Sunday afternoon when he ran off the road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Shortly before 5:15 p.m., the man was riding a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 northbound on County Road 455, approaching Woodlands Drive when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the road, FHP said.
